REGISTRATION
When do registrations open/close?
Registrations open 9am, December 15, 2025.
Registrations close 11:30pm, January 18, 2026.
What is the registration process?
Registration is split into a two stage process.
Phase 1 Registration: Players are to register through PlayHQ and pay the club fee portion of $100.
Phase 2 Registration: All successful players will be emailed a secondary PlayHQ link in early February to finalise their registration and pay all remaining fees. KidSport vouchers can be entered during Phase 2 Registration.
What age groups are available?
All age groups from NetSetGo Net to Opens.
Which age group should I register in?
Please register in your correct age group. Refer to the registration pack for the birth date eligibility of each age group.
What is KidSport?
KidSport enables eligible Western Australian children aged 5-18 years to participate in community sport by offering them financial assistance towards club fees.
How do I apply for KidSport?
TRIALS/GRADING
When are trials/grading held?
2026 Trials will be held in February. Check the registration pack for dates and times.
What should I wear to trials/grading?
White top and black or navy bottoms. All jewellery must be removed, and no boyleg/booty shorts are to be worn.
Where do I find my leg number?
Leg numbers will be available on our website after 30 January, 2026.
I/my daughter can't attend a session, what should I do?
All trial/grading sessions are compulsory. If you are unable to attend, please email enquiries@westcoasterskingsway.com as soon as possible.
I/my daughter can't attend any sessions, what should I do?
Any member who fails to attend a minimum of 1 trial session, for reasons other than injury, will not be placed into a team.

What are the compulsory uniform items?
Club Training Top
West Coasters Dress OR Club Singlet and Black Club Shorts
White Socks
Where can I purchase my uniform?
All uniform items can be purchased at Mecca Sports, either online or at their Joondalup Store.
What should I wear to training?
Club Training Top and black or navy bottoms.
What should I wear to game day?
West Coasters Dress, black boy-shorts, and white socks. Training tops are optional.
TEAMS
Can I request to be put in a team with my friend?
Team placement is based on player skill, ability, and attitude. Friends will not necessarily be placed in the same team.
TRAINING
When do teams train?
Wednesday nights. Times are to be confirmed, but 2025 training times were:
NetSetGo: 5-6pm
U12, U13 & U15: 6-7:30pm
U18 & Opens: 7:30-9pm
What should I wear to training?
Club Training Top and black or navy bottoms.
GAMES
When do NetSetGo and Under 11 teams play?
All NetSetGo and Under 11 teams play on Friday Evenings at the WDNA outdoor courts. Game times are subject to change by WDNA, however the 2025 timeslots were:
NSG Net Year 2 & 3 - 4:30pm
NSG Go Year 4 & 5 - 5:30pm
Under 11 - 6:30pm
When do U12s and older teams play?
All teams from Under 12s and older play on Saturdays at the WDNA outdoor courts. Game times are subject to change by WDNA, however the current timeslots are:
Under 12 - 8:30am
Under 13 - 10:00am
Under 15 - 11:30am
Under 18 - 1:00pm
Open - alternating 2:45pm & 4:15pm
What is the bad weather policy?
Matches will not be cancelled due to inclement weather. Cacellations will only occur at WDNA's discretion if there is dangerous weather or lightning in the area.
INJURY
Do I need to get clearance after an injury?
Yes, clearance must be provided following an injury. This can be obtained from a Doctor, Physiotherapist, or other medical professional, and a copy must be provided to the coach before the player may participate.
How do I make an injury insurance claim?
Netball WA membership is a component of the West Coasters fees and includes Injury Insurance Cover. Please contact the club to make a claim.
UMPIRING
I am interested in umpiring with West Coasters in 2026.
The club will be seeking umpires to umpire the NetSetGo and Under 11 competition on Friday nights, as well as on Saturdays in U12, U13, U15, U18 and Opens. Please send your umpiring expression of interest to enquiries@westcoasterskingsway.com or contact us.
Is umpiring for West Coasters separate to umpiring for WDNA?
Yes. Umpiring for West Coasters is not associated with WDNA Umpiring squads in any way.
Can I umpire for both WDNA and West Coasters?
Yes. If you are umpiring for WDNA, please let the umpire coordinator know.
I am looking to get badged. Is this something you can help with?
Yes. Please contact the umpire coordinator if you are looking to obtain an umpiring badge. West Coasters can assist in organising a badging assessment.
